(Its ok To Critique) Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus

This message is for Christians.

Recently a video has went viral called Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus  it’s gotten over 2,ooo,ooo (it’s actually closer to 3,ooo,ooo)views on youtube in just one day! .

The truth of the matter is that we should be rejoicing in the face that a video with such a strong message about Christianity has went viral rather then some dumb video about a singing cat.

Yes people should critique this video because critique is good but please remember in your critique that people are searching and yearning for truth and people are watching us as examples of Christ.

This video is creating discussion among Christians and causing people that may not have otherwise been interested in the message of Christ to be willing and open to discussion.

When it comes down to it no matter if you agree or disagree I think its a good thing because a door has been open to have open dialogue.

  1. I commented about the video on my blog as well (hamiltonmj1983.wordpress.com). I came down a little bit harsh on it, but it did raise a few good points; there are major problems in our churches today!

My main point is that the church (and all organized religion) is built around people, who are not perfect. Organized religion, therefore, will never be perfect. The real miracle is that God uses it anyway.
