Days after a south Edmonton man was last seen, his friends and family were pounding the pavement Wednesday in an effort to find him.
Family and friends of Alex Thomas-Haug, 24, organized a search party to look for the young man, last seen early Monday morning near his home at 95 Street and 73 Avenue.
A friend had dropped him off at home at about 4 am – his mother, Lorna Thomas, told CTV News her son must have realized he didn’t have his house keys, which he had left at a friend’s house – located on the other side of Mill Creek Ravine.
“So we’re not sure, but the logic is he would have made his way through the ravine to his friend’s house to retrieve his keys,” Thomas said.
Several people formed a search party Wednesday, and spread out in the area near his house to look for any sign of Thomas-Haug, put up posters, and spread the word.
“We’re in the process of trying to put these [posters] up in some prominent locations, in an effort to try to get more people keeping an eye out for him,” Thomas continued.
